Just one year after the release of the Sony DSC-RX100 III the next\u00a0version was announced this month: Sony DCS-RX100 IV<\/a>. As the body and\u00a0the lenses are the same, I asked myself if it is worth to buy the new\u00a0IV or get a decently prices III in August 2015.<\/p>\n

Sony’s press release<\/a>, some first reviews at the new camera<\/a>\u00a0and dpreview<\/a>, a\u00a0side-by-side feature comparison<\/a>\u00a0and picture quality comparison<\/a>\u00a0are already out. The difference in image quality is probably not there. I would like to add a complete\u00a0list of differences in the following tables based on the specification RX100 III<\/a> and RX100 IV<\/a> at Sony.
