Scanning high quality handwriting or scanning of important certificates always leaves me with the trouble of removing scratches or blot. I think the best way is to mask „away“ the dirty background pixels. That used to be so easy with PaintShopPro but with some whistles it can be done in Photoshop, too. Here comes the recipe:
- Datei -> Importieren -> Bild von Gerät:
600 dpi
scan.png file - Datei -> Speichern unter:
scan.psd will become final masked picture - Datei -> Öffnen ->
scan.png will become the grey tone mask - Bild -> Korrekturen -> Helligkeit/Kontrast
- Filter -> Sonstige Filter -> dunkle Bereich vergrößern
- Bild -> Korrekturen -> Umkehren
- Bild -> Modus -> Graustufen
- Bild -> Modus -> bitmap
Schwellwert 50% - Bild -> Modus -> Graustufen
- Verbliebene weisse Flecken entfernen
- Auswahl -> Alles auswählen
- cmd+c
- Wechsel zu scan.psd
- Ebenenmaske einfügen
- Klick with Option + left mouse on mask
- cmd+v
- done
